Tank

My true soul dog. Since joining our family as an 8 week old puppy in 2013, Tank has filled our lives with joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. Tank embodies the spirt of a devoted companion, with a loving nature and a heart of gold. His boundless energy may have mellowed a bit, as he's aged, but his affectionate personality and playful spirit still shine through. He continues to be an irreplaceable part of our family, creating countless cherished memories.

Hi, I'm Kelsey

I am the face behind the camera, here at Pittie Paws. I have professionally photographed the two-legged animals (people) for many years, however I find myself to have more of a connection with dogs than I do people. And if you haven't noticed the pattern, already, my heart particularly belongs to the American Pit Bull Terrier. Can you say obsessed? I find so much joy in working with our canine companions, I made the decision to exclusively photograph dogs.

To deepen my understanding of canine behavior, I have completed courses in dog training and canine behavioral science. This knowledge helps me connect with each dog, I have the pleasure of photographing. While my ultimate goal is to highlight your dog's individual beauty and personality, I also strive to capture heartfelt moments that display the unique bond between dogs and their humans.

My natural born model dog. We adopted Mazi, from Border Tails Recue near Chicago, in March of 2024. She skipped the shy puppy in a new home phase and instantly integrated into our family. She took on the very important role of team ambassador, here at Pittie Paws. This girl absolutely LOVES being in front of the camera. Whether we are out scoping locations or setting up a backdrop in our home office, she is posing for the camera. She knows she's gorgeous! She shares the same, typical American Pit Bull Terrier traits, as Tank. Unconditional love and loyalty for her people.

Mazikeen

Lilith

My baby dog. The newest member of the Pittie Crew. Just before Christmas, 2024, Mazikeen and I made a trip back to Border Tails Rescue, to meet this pup I had seen on their website. The moment we met her, we knew she was coming home with us. She was a shy, little pup during our meet, but her spunky character instantly appeared as soon as we loaded into the truck. She knew she was going HOME and she was so excited! Her and Tank hit it off, as soon as we got home (Tank LOVES babies.) She has only been with us for a short time, but it feels like she's been a part of us forever. She was the missing piece we didn't know we had.
